I wake up early because it always feels like a new beginning. I believe that rising early is the first step toward success. The first thing I do upon waking is to try and recall my dreams—the ones I had during the night. Remembering them can be challenging, but sometimes I manage to. These dreams often reflect aspects of my life, making them significant to me. Afterward, I speak positive words to myself (Positive Affirmation) to maintain an active and positive mindset throughout the day. I remind myself to SEIZE THE DAY.
Benefits:
Sync with your circadian rhythm: Early rising helps regulate your body clock, which research (Reppert & Weaver, 2002) links to better sleep quality and cognitive performance.
Boost your mood with sunlight: Exposure to morning light resets your internal clock, lighting up those mood-enhancing pathways (Czeisler et al., 1981).
Proactive mind vibes: Studies show that morning larks tend to be more proactive and successful (Preckel et al., 2011), giving you that edge in the daily hustle.
"Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise."
